Join us for a conversation around plotting and story structure with celebrated author, Alyson Gerber, and agent/editor extraordinaire, Allison Remcheck.  They’ll discuss different approaches to plotting and what makes a story work, at the core.  A lines, B lines, all the lines you need to craft a story that is layered and satisfying.  If you are serious about the art of writing stories, you do not want to miss the conversation.

They will use Alyson’s new high concept series coming in April 2024, THE LIARS SOCIETY, as a basis to discuss what makes a successful story structure and how to get there with your own project.

ALSO! You can preorder THE LIARS SOCIETY right now at Barnes & Noble for a 25% discount! Click HERE.

The first two books in Alyson’s new middle grade mystery series, THE LIARS SOCIETY, at a New England prep school, will be in stores 2024. Allison Remcheck believes there is simply nothing better in the world than putting the perfect book into a child’s hand. But there is something extraordinary in nurturing a book from the start, and seeing it find its place in the world. She has had the opportunity to work with many critically-acclaimed and bestselling authors. Her clients include Lamda-nominee Zack Smedley, Schneider Family Book Award-winner Shannon Stocker, Newbery Medalist and Pura Belpre Medalist Donna Barba Higuera, and she is co-agent for #1 New York Times bestselling author, Karen M. McManus, among others. Her tastes can be summed up as high-concept, universally-reaching stories that are beautifully told. She finds herself drawn to voices that speak for themselves, stories that only the author can tell, and books that reflect the lives of every child–especially the ones told least often. She hopes to help publish the sorts of books that make children readers for life.
